City Park
83 hectares of Porto’s city centre are purely green. Porto’s city park is an inviting green space, beautifully designed by the landscape architect Sidónio Pardal. The rolling bucolic hills stretch out to touch the sea, giving the park an iconic characteristic: a seafront.

Passeio Alegre Garden
Porto has a rich portfolio of romantic 19th-century gardens, Passeio Alegre Garden is one of them. Lined by two iconic rows of Palm trees, the garden includes a mini golf track, a picturesque bandstand and a well-deserved Green Flag Award. The patch of delicate green space is neatly situated alongside the river.

Homem do Leme Beach

São Lázaro Garden
The romantic São Lázaro Garden is an ode to women. The oldest garden in the whole city, it was built right after the Siege of Porto, in honour of the king’s mother D. Maria II. Perfect for relaxing amongst romantic scents of magnolias and camellias.

Águas do Porto Park
Once the property of the Reid family (British ex-pats), the park and Townhouse were acquired by the Porto’s City Council in the 1930s. Amongst old fountains and lush forest patches, the garden is an oasis of tranquillity.
