Joana Nogueira had her mother’s first artistic inspiration, accompanying her from an early age in oil painting classes. She studied Fine Arts in secondary school and completed her degree in Caldas da Rainha, which focused on two-dimensional work. Still without her own space, she ventured into sculpture at home. She specialized in Illustration and Animation and made her first short film. In 2016, she explored ceramics in a workshop. In the cinema she made puppets and somehow the principles of ceramic creation were already present. In 2020, she opened her Terra Boa studio, launching the Não Sou Rita brand.
