WOW, THE ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT
Opened in July 2020, WOW is an entertainment district located in the historic centre of Vila Nova de Gaia, created through the restoration of former Port wine warehouses.
Today, it is home to five permanent museums — Port and Wine Experience, Pink Palace, Porto Region Across the Ages, The Art of Drinking and The Chocolate Experience by 20|20 — as well as Atkinson Museum, a venue dedicated to temporary exhibitions. The district also offers a diverse selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries, providing a complete leisure experience that combines culture and gastronomy. It has also established itself as a premier venue for corporate, cultural and social events, hosting initiatives of all sizes for a wide range of audiences.
