FEUPMuseu

FEUPmuseu is a university museum unit, created at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, whose mission is to appreciate the historical, scientific, cultural heritage of this school and its predecessor institutions, to awaken new and diverse perspectives on Engineering, and to encourage public understanding on technology. This mission is achieved through the preservation, research, interpretation and communication around the collections of recognized patrimonial, scientific and technological value, as well as their respective documentation.

FEUPmuseu also aims to provide technical support and collaboration in safeguarding, studying and disseminating the knowledge products currently generated at FEUP, with a view to constitute the intangible and intangible heritage for the future.

The museum, with its polynucleated configuration, is in the process of being installed.
