Museu da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto
Museums & Thematic Centres
The Faculty of Fine Arts Museum of the University of Porto was officially created in 1992, after the Superior School of Fine Arts was included in the University of Porto. The Museum’s main goals are to preserve and study the Faculty’s Art collection and to establish the Museum as an artistic and cultural institution not only inside the University but also locally, nationally and internationally.
The Museum organises temporary exhibitions, open to the public, at the Pavilhão de Exposições, a building that is part of FBAUP's architectural ensemble, designated a Monument of Public Interest.
In the garden, one can see sculptures from various eras and authors.
