The PortoBay Teatro is the PortoBay Group's 4-star hotel in Porto. This acquisition (in 2018) marked the arrival of the Madeira Group in Porto, on Rua Sá da Bandeira in the iconic "Theatre District', the heart of the city's historical quarter.
In 2021, the PortoBay Teatro was completely refurbished and is now a charming boutique hotel, with a lighter, more open, natural and clean feel.
The 74 rooms (divided into 5 categories - suite, junior suite, audience, tribune and gallery) have a contemporary, natural and comfortable style. The neutral tones and light woods give a warm atmosphere that can be felt throughout the hotel.
The Il Basilico restaurant, with its focus on Italian comfort cuisine, have direct access into the street.
