Prégar was established in a former butcher’s that supplied Porto's royalty and was born by the hand of interior designer Paulo Lobo and adopted as a brand image dozens of wooden boxes with over 50 years.
As for the menu, the sirloin Prego is king: with a classic option (cheese and ham), another with queijo da serra (cheese made in Serra da Estrela)) and recently there is a very Portuguese option where codfish is the star, all served with chips. There is also a rump steak prego, a tuna prego and a vegetarian prego and there’s even two burgers: simple and Mexican.
