Caldeirão da Cati opened its doors in April 2004 and although being a small shop is now able to gather the best of Portuguese ceramics.
In Ribeira do Porto, right next to the Luiz I Bridge, we can find in this yellow house the black clay from Molelos, the Red clay from Barcelos, the faience from Coimbra, the clay with inlaid stone from Nisa, the faience from Alcobaça and the pottery from São Pedro do Corval of Alentejo. You can also get acquainted with the traditional Galo de Barcelos (Rooster of Barcelos) and its legend, the Azores' certified embroideries, not to mention the traditional porcelain doll, the shawls from Minho and the famous filigrees.
