Located in the city centre since 1897, LOJA DE TRADIÇÃO is dedicated to selling traditional items and Portuguese handicrafts. In this space, you can find all kinds of traditional costumes articles such as capotes (cloaks), samarras (shepherd’s coats), camisolas poveiras (wool sweaters made in Póvoa de Varzim), wool stockings, slippers and leather gloves, fado shawls, various handicrafts, filigree, embroidered towels, dinnerware and regional costumes from various regions, hats, shirts, trousers, vests, stockings, chinelas (wooden clogs), clogs, shoes, boots, kerchiefs, regional shawls and everything else needed to wear the costume.
