Porto’s Urban Master Plan
In the pre-pandemic, it was possible to see “inside” some of Porto's most striking infrastructures, such as the Metro do Porto tunnels or the technical deck of the iconic São João Bridge. In the current circumstances, the event “Inovação Fora de Portas – Engenharia Civil à Mostra” takes place at home, in digital format, but the trips promise to set sail every month.
Plano Diretor Municipal do Porto (PDM) establishes the rules and guidelines to be followed for the occupation, use and transformation of land for the territory of the municipality of Porto and, as such, has a fundamental impact on the population’s experiencing the city. The new PDM is a collective project for the future of the city, setting a strategy and an implementation programme that promote the quality of life of citizens and contribute to strengthen its competitiveness and recognition in a globalized context.
The session will be accompanied by the presentation of a documentary video on the project.
