Helga Azevedo and Gil Santos are the founders of Carioca de Limão, a band of six friends who come together to create music whose influences include MPB, afoxé, samba jazz, world music, Caribbean rhythms and sounds from the four corners of the world. The result is a fresh aesthetic that rubs off on the audiences with both the softer songs and the more intense rhythms.
