Tindersticks with orchestra and guests

The Tindersticks will be at the Coliseu Porto Ageas on 14 May 2022 for a special concert as part of their 30th anniversary tour. The band will be accompanied by an orchestra and several guests.
The Tindersticks were born in 1992 and currently feature original members Stuart Staples (vocalist), David Boulter (keyboardist) and Neil Fraser (guitarist) and the more recent additions, Dan McKinna (bassist, in the band since 2007) and Earl Harvin Jr (drummer, in the band since 2010). Throughout their career, they have established themselves as masters of restraint and poetic human emotion, drawing dense, melancholic songs whose textures and beauty have found a special place in the hearts of the Portuguese public, where they have always been cherished.
This special concert goes through the band's already extensive discography, from "Tindersticks", debut album released in 1993, to the most recent and mesmerizing "Distractions", released in February 2021. The band will be accompanied by an orchestra and several guests who have marked their journey. The songs will be performed with full arrangements that are true to the original recordings. Stuart Staples and colleagues will be joined on stage by an orchestra and several well-known names from their discography: Lucy Wilkins (violinist in “Tindersticks II” and “Curtains”), Calina de la Mare (violinist in “Tindersticks II”, “Curtains”, “Simple Pleasure”, “Waiting for the Moon”), Rob Spriggs (guitarist in “Tindersticks II” and “Curtains”), Sarah Willson (violoncellist in “Tindersticks II”, “Curtains”, “Simple Pleasure”, “Waiting for the Moon”, “Across Six Leap Years” and “No Treasure but Hope”), Gina Foster (singer in “Across Six Leap Years”, “The Something Rain” and in the latest “Distractions”) and saxophonist Terry Edwards.
