Porto's new promotional video offers 24 panoramic views to contemplate the city from its viewpoints. A route with iconic suggestions and other surprising ones.
By air, by land, by river and by sea, there are many and different perspectives of the city, which show the richness of its heritage, history, and culture.
Porto's latest tourism promotion video beckons to take a trip through the images that can be contemplated in 24 viewpoints of the city – some surprising, others iconic. There are also suggestions for spots that are still secret or little known, such as the viewpoints of Parque das Águas, Lada Elevator and Bandeirinha da Saúde, which surprise with their stunning and unforgettable scenery.
For the more daring, there is the challenge to climb to the viewpoints that are located at the highest points and enjoy some of the best 360-degree views of the city and the Douro River. Like, for example, the dome of the Super Bock Arena - Rosa Mota Pavilion, in the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, Clérigos Tower and, the Tower of the Church of Senhora da Conceição, in Marquês.
The city's panoramic landscapes are combined with the emotions of the sunset reflected in the waters of the river, from other points of interest, such as the viewpoint of the garden of Virtudes Sidewalk.
Many other viewpoints, also must-visiting sites, are part of this video itinerary: Ribeira do Porto, Terreiro da Sé, Luiz I Bridge, are some of the sites that invite you to (re)discover a city of different architectures, which tell stories, immortalised in unique photographs shared on social media.
The video “Miradouros do Porto” is part of a series of 22 themed promotional videos that the municipality is releasing, which aim to disseminate and promote the city's potential, to different audience profiles.
