Increased routes and flights to and from Porto have been announced. Finnair and Vueling have just disclosed a bigger presence at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport for the next few months.

The Finnish airline – Finnair – has announced the increase in operations to two weekly connections between Porto and the capital city of Finland Helsinki, with flights departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays, until 22 October.

According to an information note issued by APG Portugal, which represents the Finnish airline in Portugal, flights from Porto will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, until 22 October, at 11:50 pm, reaching Helsinki at 6:10 am of the following day, while the return flights depart from the Finnish capital city at 8:35 pm and arrive in Porto at 11 pm on Wednesdays, while on Saturday departure is at 8:45 pm, arriving in Porto around 11:10 pm.

The Finnish flag carrier is a member of the oneworld alliance with a fleet of 79 aircraft.

Spanish low-cost airline Vueling, based in Barcelona, has also announced that it will establish a connection between Porto and Ibiza, every Wednesday and Sunday, as of 18 June.
