RESPIRAR by Armanda Passos

Palácio da Justiça do Porto presents the exhibition RESPIRAR by Armanda Passos from April 19th to May 19th. The exhibition, promoted by the Tribunal da Relação do Porto, has the subtitle: Quantos animais cabem no coração dos homens? (How many animals can fit in the hearts of men?)
There will be exhibited 39 works, including gouaches and Chinese ink on paper, catalogued twice, which lead us to a closer look at the animals, according to an excerpt from the text by the painter herself also exhibited: "sometimes, I paint on a mission to defend animals. Time and time again, I work with art as if it were a code to decipher them, where I can feel them, laugh with them and suffer with them internally and give them the possibility of Being". Also on display, there will be excerpts from texts included in the exhibition catalogue, by the President of Tribunal da Relação do Porto, Judge of the High Court Nuno Ataíde das Neves, by the former President of the Bar, Dr. Guilherme Figueiredo and by the Curators.
