Porto. The city of camellias

In Porto, camellias colour places like Parque de São Roque, Quintar Villar d'Allen and the Botanical Garden. Native to Asia, this flower was introduced to Portugal in the 19th century and quickly became a symbol of Porto. Today, over 300 species of camellias bloom in public and private gardens, transforming Porto into an enchanted garden.
