Tickets for flights between Porto and Brussels, which will be reinstituted on July 1st, are already being sold by TAP. In addition to the reinstatement of this service by the Portuguese Flagship Company in Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, there are new highlights for the summer of 2019: the launch of new routes to Lyon and Munich from September and increase the links to Madrid and New York.

Starting on July 1st, the link to the Belgian capital is the third of four European routes ended by TAP in Porto in 2016, to be resumed. The former daily operation will now be a bi-daily operation with departures from Porto at 7am and 5:35 pm and arrivals in Brussels at 10:30 am and 9:05 pm, respectively.

From September, flights to Lyon will also be daily, with two possible schedules (departing from Porto at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, arriving at 9:35 pm and 9:35 pm). "It is an important airport route, where TAP will compete with the nearly 2 daily flights of easyJet and with the daily flight of Transavia", the airline said in a press release.

For Munich there will be a daily flight, departing from Porto at 12:15 pm and arriving at the German city at 3:55 pm. The airline says that in this case, it will have direct competition from Lufthansa.

The increase on the Porto-Madrid route will consist of a new flight in the middle of the day and for New York the increase is of "four weekly flights, going from two to six frequencies per week from June."
