Porto will have three weekly routes to London via the carrier Wizz Air and two more to the French city of Brest via Ryanair.

In the case of Wizz Air, a Hungarian airline that has been clearly investing in Porto, the revelation was made by Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport, which reveals that 2 July 2019 will be the start of the new link to Luton airport in London three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - with tickets already on sale on the company's website (www.wizzair.com).

In turn, Ryanair also announced the new destination, Brest in north-western France, with two flights originating from Porto starting April on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

This new route joins the six new routes that the Irish carrier announced in October to start operating from Porto next summer - Seville, Alicante, Brive, Cagliari, Marrakech and Venice (Treviso) - and the tickets are already available for sale on the company's website (www.ryanair.com). In total, Ryanair will operate 59 routes from Porto, showing that for this airline Porto also represents a competitive operational investment.
