The 2022 Financial Times Executive Education Ranking is already known and Porto Business School (PBS) appears in it once again. The institution from Porto climbs the table and is now in the 40th position among the best business schools in the world and gives a push for Portugal to take a place on the podium.


In the Open Programmes category, Porto Business School  sees its ranking rise 22 places and is now in 53rd place, highlighting the improvement in variables such as partner schools, international participants and overall customer satisfaction. In ten points, the institution won 9.33.


Improving in the Financial Times ranking, the Custom Executive programmes were also presented. In this category, Porto Business School is now in the 48th position, ten places above the previous evaluation. The activity growth, programme design, partner schools and future use of the skills gained are the criteria on which the school achieved the best score.


In a statement, the dean of Porto Business School considers “a pride to consolidate our position in the Financial Times ranking, adding positive results that contribute to position Portugal as a world leader in the area of ​​executive training”.


Ramon O’Callaghan adds that “there are always new challenges to achieve, and that each year presents us with more and more stimuli and motivation. Therefore, we will always continue to innovate, with programmes of excellence responding to the needs, which are also constantly changing, of individuals and companies”.


Porto Business School's performance helps to place Portugal as the third best qualified country in this Executive Education Ranking, only behind France and the United Kingdom.


Every year, the Financial Times publishes rankings for MBAs, EMBAs, Masters in Finance, Masters in Management and online MBA programmes, as well as executive training programs, in addition to the ranking of the best European business schools, whose last evaluation placed the institution from Porto in 66th position. PBS climbed 13 places in this ranking.
