The Cinco Estrelas Regiões Award describes it as “a European reference” and “one of the main cultural institutions in the dissemination of Contemporary Art, in addition to being an exceptional heritage complex listed national monument”. And consumers agreed, voting for the Serralves Foundation as the winner in the museums’ category in the fourth edition of the competition.


This award measures the degree of user satisfaction, using the five main variables that influence the purchase decision as evaluation criteria: satisfaction with experimentation, price-quality ratio, purchase intention or recommendation, brand trust, and innovation.


The Cinco Estrelas Regiões Award, which seeks to value and make known the best that each of the national regions has to offer, highlights a restricted group of brands and local businesses that stand out by the high level of consumer satisfaction. Contributing to the promotion of the regions, the winners are chosen by voting in the areas of natural resources, gastronomy, art and culture, monuments, and heritage, and many more.


In all, 112 regional icons and 85 brands were awarded across the country. The award is based on the concept and methodology of evaluation of the Cinco Estrelas Award - which measures the degree of satisfaction that products, services and brands give to its users - and this year involved the participation of 346 thousand Portuguese people.


“The Cinco Estrelas Regiões Award applies to products and services with a regional presence, aiming to highlight the impact that companies have on the promotion of our country at an economic and social level, in addition to the wealth of heritage that characterises and values ​​our country in one aspect equally tourist, region by region”, says the organiser.
