Serralves House, an important example of Art Deco architecture, includes an interactive map that shows the most iconic houses from the 20th century.

Serralves House by French architect Charles Siclis and Portuguese Marques da Silva, located at Rua Dom João de Castro, in Porto, was considered one of the most iconic, by Iconic Houses, one of the most relevant websites on architecture from the last century.

The website includes an interactive map where it is possible to access information about each of the buildings, photographs and even some trivia.

According to Iconic Houses, those who visit the Villa, built in the old quinta (estate) of the Count of Vizela, have the opportunity to take a trip back in time and enter a unique example of Art Deco architecture, which marked the 1930s of the last century.

The website also highlights the great decorative rigor and quality materials, as well as the fact that Serralves House benefited from the intervention by some of the most leading figures of the time, such as Marques da Silva, Charles Siclis, Jacques Emile Ruhlmann, René Lalique, Edgar Brandt and, later, in its renovation made in the 80's, by Álvaro Siza Vieira.
