Situated right in the centre of the city, just a few metres from the area classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, the Porto Riad Guest House is housed in a charming traditional city residence from the 1940s. It was fully renovated in 2009 and boasts an oriental theme. It aims to offer its guests the opportunity to share a unique experience in an exotic and inspiring setting in which an aromatic tea or glass of port wine will help them to relax and unwind.
It offers 16 rooms, 11 of which are doubles (9 standard, 1 superior double and 1 fitness), 3 multi-occupancy rooms and 2 singles. It also has wireless internet, room service, bar, snack bar and laundry services.
The Riad is surrounded by important tourist attractions and historical city monuments. Amongst these is the Bolhão Market, the City Hall, the Church of Clérigos, the Stock Exchange Palace and the historical Ribeira district.
