Almas Gémeas ao Piano
Event
Considered one of the most prestigious piano duos today and described as musical soulmates, the GrauSchumacher Duo continues its residency at Casa da Música with the Concerto for two pianos that Felix Mendelssohn wrote when he was just 14 years old. In 1823, the composer premiered the work in the company of his sister, the virtuoso pianist and composer Fanny Mendelssohn. Under the direction of the renowned conductor Michael Sanderling, Principal Conductor of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the Orquestra Sinfónica ends the programme with the “most daring” symphony by Bruckner, which he himself said was his favourite.
