Historic Tall Ship – Atyla
Event
Anyone who stops by this weekend at Cais da Ribeira will be surprised by an eye-catching wooden vessel similar to a pirate ship. With a length of 31 meters, two masts, black sails and 18th century design, the Atyla will moor next to the Luiz I Bridge, and will receive free visits.
After being welcomed by the crew, the public will watch a video showing the ship in action and will be able to walk around the deck, take photographs and read a set of information panels. The interior of the ship will not be accessible, but one can see inside through the windows.
Avoid long queues with online pre-registration (with a symbolic donation of one euro).
The tall ship is scheduled to depart at 11 am on Sunday, June 5th, but already has a second stop on the horizon: it will return to Ribeira from 20 to 22 August.
