Considering the humanitarian crisis caused by Ukraine’s invasion, commotion and indignation make solidarity grow in the world. Hundreds of thousands of refugees with many children exposed to war and exile, would already be an unavoidable reason for an urgent mobilization, but it is also necessary to give support to the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people on the ground, taking care of those who remained. For that, the voices and talent of countless Portuguese musicians come together, in unison, wanting to appeal to peace and raise funds for the Ukrainian Red Cross, for the NGO Voices of Children and for the UBTS - Emergency Center, through a benefit concert to take place on March 15th at the Super Bock Arena in Porto.
“Uma voz pela paz” is a concert in the form of a hug of solidarity and a clamour for the return to normality in Ukraine. It is our music at the service of solidarity and the celebration of fraternity between peoples. All proceeds from the box office go to the above-mentioned humanitarian organisations.
