Vaga
Event
After the success of the last two editions, “VAGA – Mostra de Artes e Ideias” returns to Palácio do Bolhão. There are four weekends full of theatre, performances, installations, music, conversations and cinema, largely under the responsibility of former students of “ACE Escola de Artes”.
Designing VAGA is like preparing a get-together for so many people that you have to change your house. It means opening the doors wide, turning the rooms upside down, filling the seats with people. It is to be the meeting point between those who come from far away, those who come from nearby, and those who are still here and for the first time. It is being from now and since a long time. It's being able to give the word. It's being able to join voices. It's recognizing ways of speaking. And it's losing track of the conversation.
Allowing access to the core of a house that is a school and that is a theatre company and that is also a coming and going of dreams, expectations and achievements. Leaving the room full of worries, the corridor full of novelties, the amazing staircase and the windows with stories of the times we live in.
