Oratório de Páscoa
Event
Johann Sebastian Bach lived almost three decades in the city of Leipzig, where he wrote countless brilliant pages in the history of music - and at an impressive pace, such was the demand by the positions he held. The oratories presented in this concert reflect the celebration of life linked with the Resurrection of Christ, and are accompanied by one of the most celebrated concerts for soloists and orchestra written by the German genius. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Orquestra Barroca Casa da Música joins a cast of soloists specialised in ancient music for an interpretation as faithful as possible to the time when these pieces were created.
