Adaptive Surfing

On Friday, September 25th, Praia Internacional do Porto hosts an Adaptive Surfing meet that will bring together about 40 athletes from institutions in Porto. In this context, the therapeutic capacity of surf and the sea is promoted in the development of children and young people with special needs, and resilience and the ability to overcome difficulties through sports is encouraged.
Check-in is scheduled for 10am, at Praia Internacional, next to the Wave Series events support structure, and until 3pm there will be surf initiations and a award ceremony at the end for all participants.
