During the month of August, Cinema Trindade shows all the feature films by Kleber Mendonça Filho, one of the acclaimed Brazilian filmmakers of today.
Clara (Sonia Braga) lives facing the sea at Aquarius, the last old-style building on Av. Boa Viagem, in Recife. Retired journalist and writer, widow with three adult children and owner of a cosy apartment full of records and books, she will face the onslaught of a construction company that has other plans for that plot: demolishing Aquarius and redevelop.
