kiRi
We follow a line that connects all the places, to the place where we are, we gave it the name “kiRi”.
It was born in Porto in 2019 as a result of the wish to create our own music together.
Made up of João Cardita on drums, Joana Raquel on vocals, Gianni Narduzzi on contrabass and Joaquim Festas on guitar this project is the combination of our compositions and ideas.
An accessible place where we want everyone to come and they want to stay.
Samuel Blaser and Mark Ducret
A rare opportunity to listen these two masters of improvisation in a more intimate context. Exploring the borders of the respective instruments, this duo is led by two idiosyncratic European talents: the French guitarist Marc Ducret and the Swiss trombonist Samuel Blaser. Together they explore territories that are both inhospitable and impressionistic, monochromatic landscapes like in the poles or with multiple shades like in the jungles of the tropics. Music made of contrasts and similarities, current improvised music.
