Inês Brandão Leite

Inês Leite was born in 2003 and began learning the piano at the age of 6 at the Joly Braga Santos Music Conservatory in Portimão. She had private lessons with Álvaro Teixeira Lopes, under whom she currently studies while attending the 7th level of piano at the Silva Monteiro Music Course in Porto. She won the third place at the XIX San Sebastián International Piano Competition, in 2015. In Portugal, she won, among others, first place at the: International Competition Cidade do Fundão (2011), Olga Prats Piano Competition (Palmela, 2012), São Teotónio National Piano Competition (Coimbra, 2011 and 2014) and XIII Santa Cecília Competition in Porto.
