EuroHockey Indoor Club Challenge I – 2020 Women

The Pavilhão do Clube Desportivo do Viso, in Ramalde, will be the stage for the final phase of the EuroHockey Indoor Club Challenge I – 2020 women. The competition will take place from February 21st to 23rd and brings together eight teams representing their own countries.
In addition to Portugal, which will be represented by the team of Grupo Desportivo do Viso, teams from Ireland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Scotland, Slovakia, Georgia and Wales will also compete for the European indoor title, a total of 150 athletes aged between 19 and 40 years old.
The opening game of the EuroHockey Challenge is scheduled for 9:30am on February 21st, pitting teams from Scotland (Dundee Wanderers) and Slovakia (KPH Raca) face to face.
The host team will play their first game at 1:15pm on Friday, in a match in which they will play against the Georgian team (Ukimerioni Kutaisi).
The eight teams will be divided into two pools in the first phase of the competition. Portugal is included in Pool A, along with teams from Georgia, Ireland and Sweden.
The afternoon of Sunday, February 23rd, is reserved for the finals of the competition, with the award ceremony scheduled for 4pm.
This is the first time that the competition takes place in the city of Porto.
