The versatility and interpretive vigour of Leticia Moreno have secured her an enthusiastic applause from critics. The Spanish violinist returns to Casa da Música to play Prokofieff's Concerto No. 2, a piece premiered in Madrid in 1935. In an evening with conductor Alan Buribayev, an acclaimed specialist in the Russian symphonic repertoire, Orquestra Sinfónica presents one of Dmitri Shostakovich's greatest works that became an anthem to the resistance against Nazism: Symphony No.7.
