Day 1

Morning

Start your day in one of the oldest and most typical places in the city: Ribeira. The narrow streets, the colourful houses, the fascinating flavours of the restaurants and the Rabelo boats are part of this iconic landscape. In Ribeira, visit Casa do Infante (free), where the navigator Infante D. Henrique was born. Here, in one of the oldest buildings in the city, you can discover more about the history of Invicta through an interactive model.


Then, enjoy the good weather and embark on a cruise along the 6 bridges (50 min - 14,40€), at Ribeira’s pier. Sail along the banks of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, in a typical Rabelo boat and discover the beauty of the Douro River.

Afternoon

After lunch, cross the lower deck of the Luiz I Bridge on foot and embark on a cable car trip (6,30€). We assure you that the view will be stunning, both during the trip and when you reach the end, at garden of Morro.


Pay a visit to the Santo Inácio Zoo (13,88€) and get in touch with nature and wildlife. Be sure to see the many attractions that the Zoo has available, such as the African Savannah and the Asiatic Lion Tunnel. Ideal for an outing with the children! If you came by car, the journey is very short, but you can also choose travelling by public transport.

Day 2

Morning

Afternoon

Spring is the perfect time to smell the fragrant and fresh aroma of the city's gardens. At this time of year, the fauna and flora are transformed, allowing to capture unforgettable colours and moments. Take a break at the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, 8 hectares of pure nature in the City Centre, where you can contemplate a magnificent panoramic view over the river and the city.


Continue to Rua do Campo Alegre and visit the Galeria da Biodiversidade - Centro Ciência Viva (2.50€), a space where art meets biology and natural history, through sensory experiences designed to celebrate the diversity of life. Be sure to visit the Botanical Garden, which is in the gallery's surrounding space.


Go down towards the river and visit the Tram Museum (4€), where you will find an important collection of trams that ran on the city's tracks and left a mark in its history. After visiting the museum, enjoy the good weather and get to know the feeling of traveling in our traditional mode of transport. Route 1 runs along the Douro River to Foz, the area of ​​Porto's beaches.


For a great end of the day, there is nothing like getting to know one of the city's iconic cultural and artistic spaces, Rivoli . Municipal Theatre (50% discount). Watch one of the many theatrical and dance shows that the theatre has available daily.
