The programming of Cultura em Expansão 2020 will be presented on February 14th, at 9:30 pm, at the Grupo Dramático Monte Aventino, in Campanhã, in a session that includes a concert by Maria Reis featuring a string trio and Pedro Martins.
The municipal programme thus returns to its seventh edition and will follow the same programmatic strategy of 2019, which focused on three main venues - Junta de Freguesia de Campanhã, Grupo Musical de Miragaia and Associação de Moradores do Bairro Social da Pasteleira-Previdência / Torres - having at the same time taken a series of activities to other places in the city.
In 2020, the objective will again be the continuous loyalty of audiences through an increasing mediation work with local populations.
The presentation of the 2020 calendar will count with the participation of the institutions in the production and programming which are partners of the Municipality in Cultura em Expansão, namely Confederação, Visões Úteis, Sonoscopia and Teatro do Frio.
After the programme unveiling, Maria Reis presents her latest album "Chove na Sala, Água nos Olhos", in a concert that will be unique in the city of Porto. Following a successful journey in Pega Monstro and the EP "Maria", which marked her solo debut, Maria Reis presents a new record. On February 14th, she sings her songs accompanied by António Quintino on the double bass, Raquel Nerrelho on the cello, Sofia Gomes on the guitar and also Pedro Martins, in-house guitarist in the fado evenings of Grupo Dramático Monte Aventino.
All Cultura em Expansão activities can be followed on its official Facebook page.
