The 2022 edition of the Porto Book Fair will have the participation of 84 entities, spread over 126 stalls. This will be the first year, since the beginning of the pandemic, to guarantee the full resumption of the number of stands previously existing and to lift restrictions on the number of people inside the grounds.

For this year's edition, 91 entities applied, out of which 84 were approved among distributors, publishers, bookstores, second-hand bookshops, institutional entities, occupying 126 stalls, to which another one will be added, which will be for the use of Porto City Hall.

The literary festival will take place from 26 August to 11 September, in the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal. Ana Luísa Amaral is the author celebrated in this edition, the writer born in Lisbon and living in Porto is considered by critics as one of the most remarkable Portuguese poets, translators and scholars.
