For authentic games or to practice some throws and dribbles, for young and old, sportspeople or simple amateurs. In all parish councils or merger of parish councils in the city there are spaces for the practice of streetball. There are 15 basketball hoops and eight free access courts to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Porto has expanded and diversified the offer of sports and leisure facilities in the city, with easy and free access, paying special attention to basketball, which is in growing demand, which can be played individually or collectively.

Anyone who wants to enjoy this sport in the Merger of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevolgilde Parish Councils can do so next to the Edifício Transparente, in the City Park or in Bairro da Previdência.

For those who live in Bonfim, basketball hoops are available in the Fontaínhas area and in Jardim Paulo Vallada, while the ones in Paranhos are in Covelo Park and in Santa Luzia.

Further east, in Campanhã, potential basketball players can practice their dribbling on the basketball hoops installed on Rua Coronel Helder Ribeiro and also in Jardim de Belém.

Streetball is also played in the heart of the Historic Centre, thanks to the basketball hoop in Largo de Miragaia. In Lordelo do Ouro and Massarelos, the sport is played in Cálem Garden.

And there are still four places available for days of good weather in Ramalde: in the Bairro de Ramalde do Meio, in the Associação Recreativa e Social do Viso, in the Bairro do Viso and on Rua Professor Carlos Teixeira.
