This Saturday and Sunday, the city of Porto continues to have outdoor activities, which give you more than enough reasons to go out and enjoy it alone or with someone.
The good weather beckons for walking or having picnics on the city's parks and gardens. Take the opportunity to visit the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, which enables you to enjoy an idyllic green space, right in the heart of the city, and an unobstructed view overlooking the Douro River.
Also, this Saturday and Sunday, the temporary pedestrian zones are back and, like in the previous weekends, there are altogether 13 thoroughfares in Porto's city centre that provide pedestrians with the possibility to walk freely in the city centre. The municipal initiative closes to vehicular traffic between 8 am on Saturday and 8 pm on Sunday.
Now with more entertainment and sport, and in order to improve the experience in the public space, the municipal project included, relaxation and physical exercise classes, traditional games and several entertainment activities at Avenida Rodrigues de Freitas, Rua de Passos Manuel and Virtudes Park.
The activities, promoted by the municipal company Ágora - Cultura e Desporto do Porto and by several private partners, are back this Sunday, between 9 am and 7 pm, with street entertainment and sports.
