The festival of its kind that attracts the most visitors in Europe is back to Alfândega do Porto from 1 to 5 September. Some of the world's greatest brewers come to Porto Beer Fest to give a taste of around 200 different craft beers.
It is in all moderation that the party will bring together consumers, professionals, businesses, entrepreneurs and innovation agents to share the evolution that beer has been experiencing over the centuries.
To Porto Beer Fest, 20 national and international brewers, will bring two hundred different craft beers. At the same time, and because everything is wanted in moderation, Alfândega do Porto opens a space for street food restaurants, tastings, commented tastings and even masterclasses or “labshops”. To ensure it is lively, the five-day festival will also feature concerts and other performances.
After the first edition, in 2016, the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal would still be filled with lovers of this drink in 2017 and 2018. The following year, the party began to be held at Alfândega do Porto.
This year, access to the event, organised by OG&Associados with the support of Porto City Hall, is subject to presentation of the full vaccination certificate or a negative test to Covid-19. Admission costs 4 euros per person, with a free glass.
