Laudamotion will fly between Porto and Vienna

​The former airline owned by the former Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda will start a direct service between Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport and the Austrian capital, where it is based, on October this year.

The airline announced that as of October 28t, it will have two weekly flights (Monday and Friday) between the cities of Porto and Vienna on Airbus 320 aircrafts, thus marking the beginning of the winter season. Departures from Porto will be at 6:55 pm and 08:40 am (arrivals in Vienna at 11:05 pm and 12:50 pm) and departures from the Austrian capital will be at 04:05 pm and 05:55 am (arrivals in Porto at 6:30 pm and 08:15 am).

Laudamotion's hubs are in Vienna, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart airports, but the airline plans to expand, notably to Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Nuremberg and Zurich airports.
